About That American Exceptionalism

You here politicians frequently talk about “American Exceptionalism.” This is an excellent article that may just open some people’s eyes. Of course others will say this guy is “un-American” or even that I’m “un-American” for not denouncing it. I have many conversations, where, when I point out that other countries do some things better than us, conservatives usually jump right on it, telling me I don’t know what I’m talking about.

But having traveled to at least a few places outside of the US, I can say without a doubt much of this is true. The first step in fixing the problem, is in fact, recognizing that you have a problem!
