Some Good Government News is Never News

Does anybody with a Chase credit card note the absurd fees Chase charges credit card owners when they can’t pay off their balance at once? I’m not talking about high balances for unnecessary products. If you owe $3000.00 and pay them $200/month — more than $100 over the minimum amount required — you still get a $59 fee. Yep. Paying above the minimum means nothing when it comes to credit card debt and so conveniently adds to the record profits JP Morgan Chase continues to enjoy. But now the government and the FBI are knocking.
I closed my Chase checking account, and I’m looking for options to move my debt to another bank. But banks kind of remind me of the NRA lobby clout. Those good ol’ boys know how to rip off this country with a gusto that only time in a federal penitentiary might dim. We can only hope. Glad the government’s at last looking into the abuse. Even bringing in the FBI.
On top of that good news, unemployment is down. Time for an “atta boy” for President Obama. Some things in the government are working. Despite the efforts of every Republican, which if I understand correctly, is becoming the communist party…total support of only their agenda, no compromise, no need for the truth to forward their legislation. Does not sound like the democratic process to me…does it to you?
