Going to war for our country is not only the ultimate sacrifice, it represents the unimaginable bravery and virtue of every member of the Armed Services who willingly pick up a weapon and fight for our country on enemy soil 24 hours a day every day they are away. Few who go to war speak of the experience. Thus, because this is one day after Memorial Day, we should still remember with pride every day those we honor on both Memorial and Veteran’s Day because these are men and women for whom we owe our lives every day.
