Just Keep Making It Up!

The current batch of elected Republicans have to be the worst spoiled little children in the history of this country! They have used every tool at their disposal to try to derail the Obama administration. They’ve abused tools that were rarely used in the past. They claim moderate policies are extraordinarily liberal. They scream and holler about implementation of policies they once proposed. They make up stories about death panels and government takeover of health care. They invent scandals. And now, they are inventing new tools!

The GOP want to change the playing field, but are calling out Obama for “packing the court.” The same people that voted to fill these vacant seats in the DC Circuit court during the George W Bush Presidency suddenly have decided that trying to fill these seats is an over-reach of power. By trying to fill vacant seats in the DC Circuit Court, seats that were not at all controversial just a few years ago, Republicans claim Obama is trying to pack the court.

I have news for Republicans. Elections have consequences. Your party chose to put up incompetent candidates. You embraced candidates that weren’t quite grounded in reality and you lost elections because of it. Now, the consequence of that, is that the American people, as designed by our Constitution, have chosen the Democratic party to lead the country and as a majority of the Senate. It is time to grow up and play by the rules!
