Speaker Boehner is again spouting ridiculous notions about “Obamacare.”

Because two provisions of the law were found to be invalid by the courts (although one still will likely progress further up the court system) Mr Boehner is trying to use it as “proof” the law is unworkable.

But all it means is what everyone said from the beginning. The law isn’t perfect and will need to be updated with time. What IS unworkable is the Republican Congress. There are plenty of fairly easy ways to fix this latest hurdle. IF the desire to fix it were there. But when your primary goal is a political one, rather than the best interests of the American people, there is no desire to fix the law.

It will be interesting to see that now that all those people have coverage, will the states or Congress make and effort to fix the law, or will they let all these people lose their coverage when they can no longer afford it?
