I seriously wonder if the police in Ferguson aren’t quite possibly all trying to live up to the late Richard J Daley’s famous gaffe during the 1968 Democratic Convention:
“The police are not here to create disorder, they’re here to preserve disorder.”

Because it sure seems to me that the police in the area are incapable of doing the right thing or getting their facts straight.
