The Corporate “Persons” Should Go to Prison!

1

September 8, 2014 by Chris Kite

Our Supreme Court and conservative politicians have been arguing that corporations are “people” and should be allowed to be heavily involved in elections. They tell us that corporations can have religion.

I don’t agree with this and think it is horrible policy for the average American. But as long as we are going to have such rulings, why isn’t it possible for a corporation to serve “prison” time? The corporations involved in these prison “scandals” have committed serious and heinous crimes. They should not be allowed to do business for some “sentence” of years as they have ruined the lives of many children.

I say we should create a corporate prison where corporations get put on hold, all assets get seized, and corporations that commit crimes are shut down for a lengthy period of time.

Well, either that or get rid of the rules that treat corporations as people and let them have religion and participate in elections.
