They’re All The Same! It Doesn’t Matter if I Vote or Who I Vote For??? (Part 11)

You might be feeling a little down about the state of politics in the US. The gridlock, political bickering, and overbearing control corporations and the rich have on this country are probably rightfully causing frustration and perhaps despair. But before you decide voting just doesn’t matter, please consider these facts that I’ll present in a series over the coming days:
Earning A Living Wage
Democrats have consistently fought for a higher minimum wage. Their argument is that people working full time should be able to survive on those wages. It makes sense! It also helps reduce “welfare” expenses and allow people to move up in socio-economic status.
Republicans have consistently fought increases in wages. They argue the market should sort things out. In today’s jobs environment, companies are milking the system and pocketing the profits. While huge bonuses go out to executives, the workers see very little of the profits.
Democrats believe working hard should pay off in the form of a living wage. Republicans believe that businesses should be able to take full advantage of a glut of workers and pay them the smallest possible wage – while pocketing ALL the profits. Your vote matters!
