They’re All The Same! It Doesn’t Matter if I Vote or Who I Vote For??? (Part 13)

You might be feeling a little down about the state of politics in the US. The gridlock, political bickering, and overbearing control corporations and the rich have on this country are probably rightfully causing frustration and perhaps despair. But before you decide voting just doesn’t matter, please consider these facts that I’ll present in a series over the coming days:
Constant State of War – And the Unfortunate Side Effects
The GOP has never met an international crisis they didn’t want to solve with a war. Sometimes it’s even over a made up crisis. Had we not found it necessary to invade Iraq over non-existent weapons of mass destruction, and in defiance of a world that largely said, stay out, we would not have created ISIS. And how do Republicans tell us we should deal with ISIS? More war, of course.
Syria? War!
Libya? We should have put troops on the ground!
Iran? War!
The Democratic approach has largely been negotiation, sanctions, and turning world opinion. Sometimes that requires more time. But it seems to result in less dead Americans, less military spending, and better world support for the United States of America. Your vote matters!
But if Republicans don’t get war, they don’t get profits from their military businesses. And besides, what makes a man more of a man than a uniform and a gun? Being a model for peace? — that’s just too wimpy.
