Republican Hypocrisy In The Spotlight!
1October 24, 2014 by Chris Kite
Gun death statistics are out for 2012. Sadly 33,563 people died from gunshots in 2012. That’s almost 92 deaths PER DAY.
But the Republicans have a good handle on this. Their answer (brought to you by the NRA) is that the US needs MORE gun freedom and more guns. So that the good guys with guns can defeat the bad guys with guns. With every school shooting we hear cries from the right about how “wrong” it is for “the anti gun crowd” to use a crises to try to change gun laws. Never mind that our gun laws CAUSED the crises.
Meanwhile, they scream and shout about the failure of the government to act properly on Ebola. A disease that is hard to spread. A disease that has so far, in it’s entire history, killed just one person in the US. A disease that did not spread to ANY of those that had casual contact with the poor man that contracted the virus and later died from it.
Total hysteria (and panic on their part) over a virus that while serious and often fatal, poses very little risk to the American public. A call for MORE of what killed 92 people a day in the US in 2012.
Republican hypocrisy indeed!
Interesting post . Republicans need change that stupid mentality.
