Hypocrisy = GOP

December 8, 2014 by Chris Kite

On December 4th, the house passed the National Defense Authorization Act which included a provision to transfer 2,400 acres of Apache ancestral land to a foreign mining company.

The vast majority of Republicans voted for the measure. You know Republicans, right? The ones that are so afraid of foreigners taking over our country. Yep. That’s right. Drove out the Apaches, took over most of their land, left them with a few very marginal pieces of land here and there, and then proceeded to scream about “illegal immigrants.” Meanwhile, we’re giving away national forest land, which is their ancestral homeland. But, of course, this is different. Because there is profit to be made here. Plus, it isn’t like anyone is taking away land from rich white people now, are they.

    What happens in this country and on behalf of this country is in the hands of a bunch of old white men in suits on Wall Street and in the White House. Except for that one guy who looks orangey tan all the time. 🙂
