I guess the NRA would argue that the husband and stepdaughter should have had their guns ready to prevent the shootings. Because the only the way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, right?

We don’t need more guns! We need better gun laws, we need enforcement of gun laws, and we need better training and screening of gun owners!
