Here we go again. Our conservative congress, which according to them is all about being fiscally responsible, has now spent over $300M on something the military has said they don’t want or need.

The elitist members of our Republican congress have appropriated $120M for upgrading M1A1 Abrams in the recently passed continuing resolution. That is after spending $183M last year. The US Army still doesn’t want the tanks upgraded and says it is a waste of money. Our Republican congress, which wants to take away food and health care from the poor, has decided it knows better.

Good job, Republicans! Keep on spending tax payer’s money on military hardware the military says it doesn’t want or need!
