Rudy Giuliani would like us to believe that if we think that when someone is unjustly killed by the police, and justice is not served, we are guilty of killing police officers if we stand up and protest. If we say that the fact that virtually no police officers are ever indicted for killing civilians, most often young black men, is a problem, he says we’re guilty of killing police officers.

Why do conservatives like Giuliani immediate assume that anything people say against someone or something they support is the same as condoning their murder. Why do those on the right think that admitting that there are some problems in police forces that aren’t being dealt with is the same as saying all police are bad?

President Obama has NEVER said police are bad. He often praises them. What he has said is that we have some problems that need to be looked at and solved. He has said that we still have race problems in the United States. And anyone with open eyes has realized the same thing. Solving problems is not the same as condoning murder. Not by a long shot.

Blaming President Obama, protestors, or anyone that has stood up against racial issues in our justice system is just plain stupidity!
