Fiscally Conservative?

Illinois Congressional Representative Aaron Schock already had drawn attention for his lavishly decorated office on Capitol Hill. After much attention, Mr Schock decided to do the right thing and reimburse taxpayers for the costs. The message is pretty clear though. Had he not been caught, he would have stuck taxpayers with the bill.
Now we find out he spent over $10,000 of taxpayer money on private flights, including a trip to a Chicago Bears game.
Of course he voted against the 2008 Stimulus and he voted against the Affordable Care Act. His reasoning against voting for the Stimulus Act was that it was not responsible and he had to appropriately represent his constituents. Yep. Sure.
So here is another example of a “fiscally conservative” Republican that is only fiscally conservative when it comes to taking care of the less advantaged. When it comes to taking care of himself, he seems to have no qualms spending taxpayer money.
