Conservative politicians and the conservative media love to label liberals as elitists. Well, truth be told, they love to label liberals. Elitists! Communists! Socialists! Un-American! Tyrant! Weak! Fascists! Grandma Hillary!

These are all labels I’ve seen in articles by conservatives about liberals. Why is it that conservatives think they have the right to assign labels to anyone they don’t like? Why is it conservatives like to counter scientific theory even though they don’t have a background in science? Why is it conservatives like to pretend to be experts on the Constitution despite not having studied the Constitution in college?

I hate to throw a label out there. But isn’t it pretty elitist to suggest science is wrong when you don’t understand science? Isn’t it pretty elitist to pretend to be an expert on the Constitution when you have not studied Constitutional law? Isn’t it pretty elitist to assign labels to people you don’t agree with?

I’m just sayin’!
