Ted Cruz recently suggested that those that were against the so called “Religious Freedom” law in Indiana were waging a “Jihad” against Christianity.

Lets just forget for a minute that the primary goal of the law was to allow people to discriminate for “religious” reasons. Let us just forget for a minute that the same religious argument was used to justify discrimination against African Americans before the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Does Ted Cruz know what a Jihad is? Does Ted Cruz realize that a Jihad is a Muslim “thing” that the conservative Muslims (you know, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and those types of groups) also think it is their religious right to discriminate against (and kill) gay people?

Ted Cruz and the conservative right are really starting to get good at this thing where they want to do something horrible, but when they are stopped, scream and cry about how they are persecuted, discriminated against, and just don’t have any rights any more.

The only “religious war” being waged here is by the conservative “Christian” right. The only discrimination being proposed here is by the conservative “Christian” right. The only denial of rights here is by the conservative “Christian” right.

This is NOT Christianity. It is homophobia and discrimination. It needs to stop!
