Chicago and Illinois politics are famous for the level of corruption. After all, Illinois has had four governors convicted in the past 54 years. But let’s not forget other states have their own notorious past. New Jersey is often at the top of that list.

This is a pretty amazing story not so much in that it happened, but that it is getting publicity.

The more we learn about the Christie administration, the more we learn that things haven’t really changed all that much in New Jersey.

It is very telling that Sampson specifically asked for the flight for personal reasons. And then United dropped the flight just days after Sampson resigned. It sure doesn’t seem coincidental to me!
