Some Hope For Religious Freedom (And Freedom FROM Religion)

May 24, 2015 by Chris Kite

Michael Newdow and others are using the government’s ruling for Hobby Lobby against religion in our everyday lives. They are attempting to force the US Government to remove “In God We Trust” from money.

It seems likely to be shot down by a conservative and activist Supreme Court, but perhaps it has a chance. After all, if providing birth control to your employees represents a hardship because it forces you to go against your religion, isn’t it logical that having to say “In God We Trust,” also represent a burden if you don’t trust in God?

I applaud this and any other action people take to turn Christian’s constant need to project their beliefs on everyone else, to instead project other’s beliefs on Christians.
