I Don’t Get The Risk?

1

June 19, 2015 by Chris Kite

Republicans love guns! They really love guns. They like to hold them over their heads at political rallies. They like pictures of themselves shooting them at ranges. They like pictures of themselves hunting with them. They like political ads with their liberal elitist opponents depicted in the crosshairs of a gun sight. And they positively hate it when someone tries to pass a sensible law like requiring background checks on every single gun sale, or restricting any location where a gun is allowed.

That said, it seems Ted Cruz doesn’t really have as much faith in the policies he supports as he should. Because he may just require a background check before he lets someone go hunting with him.

I want to know why it might be risky for him (or risky for the NRA to allow guns inside their convention) when they’re always telling us that guns are a right and they help keep us safe.

Hypocrisy at it’s finest!
