The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that same sex couples have a right to marry in all states. This is a good day in our country’s march toward equal rights. But don’t get too excited yet.

I fully expect, as they’ve done with abortion, Obamacare, Voting Rights, and every other fight, that conservatives will find another angle to try to deny people a right to marry. Hopefully I’m wrong. Hopefully they will either give up, or they will not be able to find a way. But as we’ve seen in recent years, very few battles are ever truly over in this country any more.
