Abortion is a hot button issue. It stirs passions on both sides. There is no one that argues we need to have more abortions, but there is a logical, calm, responsible side to this issue. Abortions should be safe and legal. We need to take reasonable steps to reduce them. But Planned Parenthood is not an evil organization as painted by the right. They provide much needed services and the ability to provide tissues from abortions can be critical to helping to prevent future birth defects, solving real medical problems, and perhaps preventing future abortions.
