Three Americans played hero this week and stopped a terrorist attack on a high speed train in France. The men were extraordinarily brave. And they had no weapons. Yet they were able to successfully disarm the man and restrain him, preventing what would have likely been large numbers of casualties.

It offers more proof that the NRA is nothing but a sales agent for gun manufacturers. No gun was required to disarm the man. No innocent bystanders were caught in the crossfire. Of course France isn’t the US. They don’t have the NRA deciding that guns belong in the hands of everyone. They don’t have the NRA writing laws that endanger their population. They don’t have huge numbers of guns floating around the country. France has strict gun laws. Yes. Sometimes the wrong people do get guns in other countries. But it is rare and statistics show that mass shootings just don’t happen in other countries the way they happen in the US.
