It sounds innocent enough. It was, in fact, an example of a kid doing something pretty cool for science, and then getting arrested for it.

The school officials acted in a racist way. They failed to recognize their errors. And they look like ignorant racist Texans.

Ahmed learned two things with this project. First, he learned to build a really cool clock. Second, he learned that Americans can be paranoid and racist and judge people solely on their ethnicity rather than their character.

Sad. Very sad.
