Here is a story about a guy that managed to amass an arsenal of what is believed to be 5,000 guns. They don’t know for sure because there are so many they haven’t been able to count them yet. And law enforcement officials have not been able to find a single record of him buying a gun from a gun store.
Fortunately no harm came to anyone for these particular guns. Although they strongly suspect he has been selling handguns. And you can bet those have been used in crimes.
Three questions come to mind.
Why does anyone need 5,000 guns?
How is it possible to accumulate 5,000 guns without drawing any attention?
Why don’t we have universal background checks requiring a background check (and sales record) of every single gun sale?
