One of the Scariest Men in the United States

Donald Trump is a racist blowhard and a bully. But that isn’t what scares me most. He is leading the GOP polls and apparently a good number of people in this country back not only his racism, but also his cluelessness about foreign policy and the way things work. And while also scary, I don’t find that to be the scariest thing about Trump.
I don’t understand the desire to have someone that doesn’t know anything about our government suddenly in power to be running it. Sure. It sounds good on the surface. He’s an outsider. He isn’t a politician (except he IS!). He hasn’t spent his career in government.
But in reality, he’s overly simplistic (like most political “purists” that want to see a far left or far right leader), and doesn’t have a clue how to compromise or get things done. He’s used to being the guy with the money and they guy that calls the shots. People don’t oppose him. At least not if they want to do business with him. But that isn’t exactly the way this country works and it isn’t the way it was designed to work. Yes, the political “purists” in both parties seem to think that somehow they can get their ideas implemented. But it just won’t happen because the majority won’t back them.
I find his foreign policy ideas absolutely terrifying. He admires a tyrant with essentially absolute power that controls most aspects of his country. He admires a man that does whatever he wants including invading his neighbors. And I strongly suspect he admires Putin because he is hoping to be just like him. Call all the shots. Control the spin. Do what he pleases.
To me, he is the scariest man in America right now!
