Ted Cruz loves war! He’s a real tough guy and thinks the US doesn’t spend enough of it’s young men and women’s lives defending our honor. He thinks we don’t spend enough on weapons and don’t kill enough Muslims in strange lands. Recently he said he would start a war with Iran for them seizing our soldiers when they entered Iranian terrority.

The direct quote from Cruz is, “Any nation that captures our fighting men and women will feel the full force and fury of the United States of America.”

Perhaps Ted Cruz isn’t aware of a few things. These soldiers were in Iranian water. These soldiers were released within 15 hours. War has costs. Both in human life and dollars.

Diplomacy isn’t always the answer. But war most certainly isn’t always the answer.

I’m growing increasing tired of Republican war monger chest thumping as a way to solve the world’s problems. Diplomacy after sanctions is very successful with Iran. We got our soldiers back within 14 hours. They have dismantled their nuclear weapons program. They have released long held US prisoners.
