As the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge standoff in Oregon drags on, there are some important lessons for anti-government radicals to avoid getting shot.
Rule number one – Don’t implement an armed takeover of a government facility.
Rule number two – Don’t make threats that while you don’t want violence, you are ready to die.
Rule number three – Don’t run from police and/or the FBI when pulled over.
Rule number four – Don’t reach for your pocket after you’ve implemented an armed takeover of a government facility, threatened federal officials, and attempted to flee from the police and the FBI.
I doubt there are many that didn’t see this coming. It is senseless and a waste of life. It is unnecessary and fueled by constant idiotic talking heads from the right wing media that have sold a false picture of tyranny and a lack of basic freedom.
Oh, and one final rule for those anti-government types that think they possess the type of weapons necessary to overthrow the US Government. Never forget that the US Government has heavy arms, high technology surveillance, a high level of training, and isn’t going to be beaten by some Rambo wanna be with an arsenal of small arms.
