Donald Trump is essentially claiming ignorance is the reason he lost in Iowa. I’ll give him that. He is ignorant.
He really doesn’t have a clue how to campaign in Iowa. And he doesn’t really have a clue how to run a country. It is important for Trump and all his supporters to realize that running a country isn’t the same as running a company. It is very different. It requires tact and diplomacy. It requires compromise and humility. It requires careful thought and a willingness to listen to other ideas. It isn’t all about the bottom line and personal or shareholder earnings. Sometimes it is about the people. Sometimes it is about looking out for others and instead of yourself.
None of these are things Donald Trump is capable of. At least not based on his campaign so far.
It is true that he hasn’t spent his career in politics. But he is a self proclaimed incredible leader. Shouldn’t an incredible leader have the common sense to employ people that understand the “business” you’re engaged in and to help with your “ground game?”
Apparently, when you’re as arrogant and self centered as Donald Trump, the answer to that is no. Why would he need qualified managers and workers when he already knows everything and can do anything?
Oh wait, he just admitted he doesn’t know everything.
