I would say this is unbelievable, but really, it isn’t. We have so many Republicans in this country that are just nasty, horrible people. They don’t care about the people they are supposed to be looking out for. They don’t care about anyone that can’t fill their campaign coffers. They don’t care about anything but appealing to the lunatic fringe right that somehow thinks sodomy is a huge problem in Michigan. The don’t care about anything but promoting hate, fear, and discrimination.

You would think, with the huge water crisis facing Flint, the poisoned children, and the complete mismanagement of the town’s water supply, the state might be trying to do something to help the people in Flint. But hey, not too many people in Flint are going to be donating to Republicans, so let’s not worry about them. Instead, Michigan Senate Republicans spend their time passing a law making sodomy illegal despite the fact that they already have a law on the books. And despite the fact that the US Supreme Court already declared anti-sodomy laws unconstitutional.

You really have to like the Republican party though. They want to keep government out of your life. Well, not so much out of your life. They want to be in your bedroom. And if you’re a woman, they want to be in a few very private parts if you’re considering an abortion.

It would seem unbelievable if we didn’t know the Republican party for what it really stands for.
