Gun Dealers Far Outnumber Starbucks

There are too many guns in America and they are too easy to come by. That is clear. And gun laws, or, more accurately, lack of gun laws is the major cause of that overabundance of guns.

But where are all those guns purchased? The link below shows a map of gun dealers and provides some startling facts:

There are over 64,000 gun dealers in the United States of America. If that sounds like a high number to you, you’re correct.

In comparison, there are six gun dealers for every Starbucks. And gun dealers also outnumber grocery stores, McDonald’s, and total coffee shops.

Another fact is that even with 253 million cars on the road, there are only a little under 18,000 car dealerships in the country.

Why does America need three times as many gun dealers as car dealers? Or six times as many as Starbucks? Or 71% more gun dealers than grocery stores?

We have a gun problem in America!
