Buying a Gun For a Fifteen Year Old . . . What Could Go Wrong?

Most Americans and most parents would probably be smart enough not to buy a 15 year old something they weren’t ready for. Say a car. After all, we have laws against that.
But in Florida, where guns are loved and cherished, a father bought his 15 year old son a gun. Generally, a 15 year-old isn’t considered mature enough to handle life and death responsibility. But for some reason, when it comes to the gun culture, this kind of common sense often goes out the window.
The results are too often tragic. Accidental shootings. Suicides. Or, in this case, a shooting rampage that left two people dead and terrorized a community.
