It was a weekend of mass shootings in the U.S. Or, as known in our country, just another weekend. The big story was Kalamazoo. The other mass shootings didn’t make the headlines because they are just so normal in our country.

We have a gun problem. We have no interest in dealing with it.

The usual prayers and thoughts go out to victims and families. But no one has any interest in dealing with the problem of regular mass shootings.

We continue to worship our guns. We continue nonsensical quips about guns not killing people, take away spoons, criminals don’t follow laws, and all the other NRA talking points.

Why do we have to stand for this?
