Someone rushes the stage while Donald Trump is giving his usual speech in his quest to make America Hate Again. With no proof whatsoever, Trump declares the person was affiliated with ISIS.

Notice anything here? When someone doesn’t support Trump, he gives them a label. Loser. Liar. ISIS.

None of it should matter. As a pompous carnival barker turned Fascist wannabe, Trump should not have attracted so much attention and support. But the media and many Americans love the reality TV atmosphere. And racists across the country are coming out in rabid support of Trump.

But there is a very real danger here. With no hearing, no trial, and no legal action, Trump is applying labels to people to try to damage them. It is not unlike the McCarthyism in the 1950s when anyone that was not rabidly out to find and destroy communists was labeled as un-American and communist. If you supported a union, you were a communist. If you were pro-labor, you were a communist. If you were a teacher, or a government employee, you were a communist. If you were an entertainer, you were a communist. It was a very dangerous time in America and it looks like Trump is going to try to recreate his own version.

Donald Trump is a dangerous man. People need to keep protesting (peacefully!) and they need to turn out to vote. Otherwise we could see this very dangerous man in the most powerful position in the world!
