The Continuing Saga of the Oregon Wildlife Refuge Takeover

It seems that the Bundy clan and others involved in the armed takeover of a the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon this winter are finding out that perhaps an armed insurrection might have negative ramifications.
It is hard to believe, but I guess these guys figured they could just go in with their guns, take over, destroy some government property, break a bunch of laws, and then go home.
It looks like the Obama Administration and his officials dealt with this in the best possible way. The only death was that of a guy that figured he could run a police blockade, tell law enforcement officials to shoot him, reach for his gun, and somehow walk away from it.
The government is ratcheting up charges based on other crimes committed during the ordeal. This is a good thing. They broke the law. They cost taxpayers money. They exhibited disturbing, dangerous, and threatening behavior.
So now they are going to get to experience some government hospitality in the form of prison time while they wait for their trial, and hopefully, a long stay in prison to learn from their errors and to teach others that may think that breaking the law and threatening others is not going to be taken seriously.
