Bravo Mr. Kerry! This is the best possible response to the continuing right wing nonsense of disagreeing with absolutely anything President Obama does.

There was no reason to come home to the U.S. after the terrorist attacks in Brussels last week. There was nothing that our President could do at home that he could not do in Cuba. There was no reason to be back in Washington.

Republicans love to play into the hands of terrorists. They love to demonize Muslims. They love to have knee jerk reactions.

And, of course, they love to do anything possible to try to “prove” the Obama is weak or ineffective. But he is neither. He continued with his important trip to Cuba despite the wishes of the Republicans. Who are just angry that Obama is giving up on 50 years of ineffective isolation of Cuba and trying something new. After all, Republicans are “conservatives” and that means that they cannot find any new plays for their play book. The only thing they know are the failed policies they have been following since the Reagan era.

It is important to remember that if we let the terrorists dictate what we do, we have given them a victory.
