The Obama Economy Continues Looking Strong

The Obama economy continues to do very well, thank you. That is despite the fact that Obama came into office during the worst economic downturn since The Great Depression. That is despite the fact that he has faced constant obstruction by Republicans.
Donald Trump wants to “Make America Great Again.” Republicans all whine and complain about how Obama has wrecked the economy and wrecked business in the United States.
But if there were really a need to “Make America Great Again,” or if Obama were really bad for American business, it seems unlikely we would be seeing unemployment claims at their lowest level since 1973! That’s the lowest level in almost 43 years.
And the more stable four week moving average is at the lowest level since November 2000. You might remember November 2000. That was when a certain Democrat named Clinton was in the White House. That was before George W. Bush let unregulated banking almost really destroy America.
