Let’s skip over the discriminatory nature of conservatives and the direct contradiction in their statement first that corporations need to stop  supporting remaking society conform to a “radical progressive agenda.” Let’s skip over the fact that if they were really not upset about transgender people, they might try to find other solutions that work.

Instead, let’s be overly simple about the issue and apply gun logic. You know. Like Republicans do!

Making it against the law isn’t going to prevent predators from using the “wrong” bathroom because predators don’t follow laws.

Why don’t they use these arguments here, just like with gun control?

Because they’re stupid arguments?

Make no mistake, sexual predators are, by nature, going to break the law if they’re going to answer those urges. Laws banning someone that is a woman, despite their birth certificate saying they are a man, from using a women’s bathroom aren’t going to make the general public any safer from predators. But those laws are going to discriminate and make life more dangerous for trans gender people.
