Pretty much every time he opens his mouth, Ted Cruz proves he’s a horrible person.
Suddenly the anti LGBT laws he is so fond of have nothing to do with discrimination against the people affected and everything to do with predators.
Right. So let me get this right. There is no point in passing gun laws, because criminals won’t follow them. But bathroom laws? Those make perfect sense because we have such a huge problem with people entering bathrooms to pray on children. In fairness, there have been a few cases. But they are rare and infrequent. Hardly worthy of laws requiring people to use the bathroom of their sex at birth. Which will only serve to make things worse and more confusing. Imagine the transgender person that now looks 100% male, or 100% female, being forced to use the opposite bathroom. How could anyone possibly take advantage of that law?
The worst thing is that this doesn’t do anything to address the primary facts about child predators. Maybe Mr. Cruz should do some research on child predators. Because those that sexually abuse children tend to be people they know. People in positions of trust and/or power. People like former Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert. Who allegedly abused boys when he was a wrestling coach. Or former U.S. House of Representatives member Mark Foley. Who allegedly sent sexually explicit text messages to teenage pages. Or family members. Or neighbors.
Yes indeed. Ted Cruz is a horrible person.
