Between January 1 and April 30, there were 23 instances of toddlers getting a hold of a gun and shooting someone. Be it themselves or someone else. That’s twenty three needless shootings that are almost totally caused by the insane gun culture in this country.
That is insane!
The fact that Illinois has had none, and New York and California have had very few would seem to draw a pretty strong correlation between states with lax gun laws and the number of toddler shootings.
To some it seems like a radical idea. But to many, it seems logical. Perhaps everyone shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun. Perhaps there should be safety testing and certification. Perhaps it is a bad idea to let anyone carry a gun.
We have a gun problem.
