It’s no secret. Too many Americans are Islamophobic. They want to prevent Mosques from being built in their neighborhoods and they don’t want them to be allowed to cover their heads. They object to their customs and want to prevent them from freely exercising their Constitutional right of freedom of religion.

The list of truly appalling actions by racists Americans is embarrassing. Among them, the guy in this article pleaded guilty to forcefully removing a hijab from a Muslim woman on a Southwest Airlines flight. He did so, while telling her this is America.

He’s wrong. When people are not allowed to worship freely, it is no longer America. Because the United States Constitution guarantees the freedom of religion and he was taking away that freedom.

Other events include people being removing from flights for doing math and for speaking arabic.

This is only going to get worse if we let a racist like Donald Trump into the White House.

It is ignorant, shameful, and discriminatory. We must send a consistent message that it will not be accepted in the United States of America. Where we are supposed to welcome diversity of religion.
