I suppose the founding fathers are all rolling over in their graves. In one of our more embarrassing and disgraceful moments in history, Republican voters have found fit to elect as their Presidential nominee a racist, blowhard, misogynistic, egotistical, bullying, know nothing, failed business man. Congratulations Donald Trump. You are a testament to ugly America!

I am positively horrified that voters are gullible enough to believe that he has any idea how to run a country. I am embarrassed that they would see fit to vote in such large numbers for a bullying racist that encourages violence. I am baffled that a man that has failed in so many businesses, even in casinos where the house always wins, is deemed as Presidential material by a significant portion of eligible US voters.

I don’t think this is quite what the founding fathers pictured when they declared our independence, wrote our Constitution, and setup the first government of our great nation.

It seems unfathomable that Donald Trump could win a general election, but I don’t put anything beyond the reach of a nation that re-elected George W Bush on the basis that “he kept us safe.”

This country is already great. It could always be improved, but I find it beyond belief that somehow Donald Trump is going to make any kind of improvements. Racism, hate, and bullying are not really attributes that make for a great country.
