Donald Trump just can’t escape the scandals of his failed businesses. As most are aware, there is a fraud suit against Trump University by the state of New York. It is going to go to trial.

If that isn’t bad enough, it turns out that Texas was also investigating Trump University. But curiously, right after Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott (now Governor of Texas) dropped the investigation, Trump donated $35,000 to Abbott’s gubernatorial campaign. That sure sounds fishy, doesn’t it?

But wait! It gets worse for Trump and Abbott. The current Texas Attorney General has issued a cease and desist order against the person that said the suit was dropped because of political reasons. That sounds even fishier!

There is no doubt Trump is a con-man. Is there really any doubt that he bribed Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott to drop the suit? Trump has already talked openly about how giving money to people will get him anything he wants. So it seems pretty likely that he made a deal to donate the money if the suit was dropped.
