The investigation into Benghazi continues after spending more that $7,000,000. It just goes on and on despite having found nothing. But it really isn’t about what happened at our embassy in Benghazi. And it really isn’t about what mistakes that were made that resulted in the tragic loss of life of Americans serving their country abroad.

All that matters to Republicans is that they try to diminish Hillary Clinton’s chances of winning the Presidency. They determined her guilt years ago. Despite a lack of evidence, a lack of damning testimony, or a lack of harmful witnesses. Republicans were never interested in the truth. They were never interested in justice. They even admitted it publicly.

Meanwhile, despite finding no evidence of any wrong doing, and despite the fact that the investigation into Benghazi has no gone on longer than investigations into the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Kennedy assassination, Watergate, the Iran-Contra scandal, the 1983 bombing of Beirut barracks bombing, or the response to Hurricane Katrina, Republicans continue to drag this on.

The irony is that had Republicans spent their time governing, and had they found a reasonable candidate to run for President, they probably would have had a much better chance of winning the election in November.

Instead, they look petty and malicious while they waste taxpayer money. Fiscally conservative? Not a chance!
