I’m tired of reading these stories. I’m tired of writing these stories.

We need to change our gun laws in this country. We need to study gun deaths and learn how to reduce them.

My guess is a program much like we have with cars could help. Implement testing and certification for gun owners. Implement safety improvements for guns. Require gun owners to prove they know how to be safe. Require insurance.

Put warning labels on guns and ammunition much like are required with cigarettes. Guns and dangerous. They have the potential to kill innocent victims. They don’t make you safer.

This isn’t necessary, but we let the NRA dictate to us what must and must not be done.
