Why doesn’t the “liberal media” do a better job of covering Trump’s total lack of understanding of, or interest in, international relations, international politics, and the world outside of the United States of America?

His reaction to the attempted coup in Turkey is amateurish, unintelligent, uninterested, and as scary as can be.

Does Trump not know that Turkey is a secular nation in the Middle East with a very long history, a tilt toward friendship with America, and a generally stable government? Does he not get that a potential civil war in a country bordering two other countries that are already in civil wars is a really bad thing?

Does he not get the importance of a stable ally that neighbors Syria, Iraq, and Iran?

Doesn’t anyone else get how pathetic he is in his understanding of global politics and Middle East stability?
