If you weren’t already worried about the prospect of a Trump Presidency, maybe this will get your attention. It should!

I get that conservatives (and even many non-conservatives) don’t like Hillary Clinton at all. They view her with contempt and mistrust. I’m not going to get into why I think that is blown out of proportion here, because this is about Trump.

But Josh Marshall talks about factual irrefutable links between Trump and Putin’s Russia.

His financial well being is directly linked to Russia. He gets funding from them. Many of his top staff members have close ties to Russia, Putin, and Putin’s allies.

When Trump talks in fond terms about Putin, someone that has been very hostile toward the United States and the west, it strikes me as extraordinarily strange that conservatives in America don’t immediately become very concerned. These are people that worry about Putin’s involvement in Ukraine and other former Soviet states. These are hawks that want America to take strong action, including in many cases military action, against Russia.

And yet somehow these same people aren’t doing everything in their power to prevent Trump from winning in November. This is party politics at its worse.

This all has very frightening implications for the US, our allies, our foreign policy, and even the security of our nation should Trump win.
