Depending on who you listen to, Trump’s trip to Mexico was either brilliant and very Presidential, or it wasn’t much.

I guess both of those should be considered accomplishments since most expected Trump to completely crash and burn in Mexico. But he didn’t. Of course he also didn’t do very well, either. But still, when Trump doesn’t completely fail at something, most consider it at least a minor miracle. But, of course, it was still a failure, just not a spectacular failure.

There was the usual Trump approach of making stuff up. “We didn’t talk about who would pay for the wall.” I guess Trump and his campaign figure that not only are the Mexicans they like to talk about rapists and criminals, but they also can’t read or understand English. As should be predictable when you publicly tell lies about meetings with others, the others are going to speak up. And that’s just what happened.

When Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto heard that he and Trump “didn’t discuss who would pay for the wall,” he cleared things up a bit. You see, Nieto specifically told Trump that Mexico would not pay for the wall and he let people know that. Oops. Trump got caught yet again.

So, when caught in a lie, we all know what Trump does. He doubles down. Now his campaign is saying that it would not have been appropriate to negotiate who would pay for the wall. Yeah. Sure. Okay. We believe you. Suddenly, when you become President, you’ll use your Jedi mind tricks to cast a spell on Neito and get him to agree to pay for the wall.

I guess if you’re a Trump supporter, you’re already pretty gullible. So it should not surprise the rest of us that you believe this stuff.

Donald Trump is unfit to be President of the United States of America. Or Mexico!
