After a week of listening to Donald Trump rant and rave about Alicia Machado and Hillary Clinton, I’m not only repulsed by his sexism, ugliness, and bullying personality, but I’m amazed at his message to voters.

Donald Trump has been trying to tell voters this week to vote for him not because he can do good things for our country and its people, but because Alicia Machado had a weight problem and had sex. In other words, “Vote for me because Alicia Machado is a fat slut.” Those are ugly words, but that is what Trump has been trying to press.

I supposed his approach may be one way to get votes. It’s a little unconventional, but it seems to work with his racist, sexist base. The problem for Trump is it is not likely to work with those outside of his base. The non-white, the college educated, female, and young progressive voters that view open sexism with contempt aren’t going to find him a worthy candidate.

Beyond the sexism, he has been playing right into the narrative that he does not have the temperament to lead the country. Who in their right mind wants a commander in chief that spends an entire week trying to denigrate a former Miss Universe candidate? Beyond the issue of body shaming and double standard fueled sexism, he just has no self control. He is so thin skinned, so in need of a win, that he is willing to self destruct his entire campaign just to prove he is right.

This is clearly not a man we want in charge of the most powerful military on the planet. This is not a man we want trying to solve world problems where war is an option, but not the preferred option. This is not a man we want to trust with nuclear weapons that have the potential to eliminate the future of the planet and humanity.

Donald Trump is completely unfit to be President of the United States of America.
