If you’re a politician that until Friday has been backing Trump, it is too late to rescind that support. Look. Everyone, and I mean Democrats and Republicans alike, knew that Trump was a racist, a sexist, a bully, and a jerk.

There are no do-overs. You don’t get to suddenly feign shock that Trump is a womanizer that thinks it is okay to sexually assault women. This behavior was clear long before Friday. He has been openly sexist. He has openly said that because of his fame and wealth he can do whatever he wants. He actually said that he could shoot someone on live TV on Fifth Avenue and keep his supporters. You watched without comment while he encouraged his supporters to assault protestors at his rallies. You watched while he insulted Mexicans, Muslims, blacks, women, and pretty much every demographic other than rich white men.

So if you previously supported Trump, just stick with him. Ride this burning crashing plane right into the ground. Because you don’t deserve to suddenly claim good judgement. You put party before country. You put party before women and minorities. You deserve to go down in flames. You deserve to lose your upcoming election. You don’t deserve to represent the American people!
